Amberleaf Home proudly participated as a Gold Sponsor at the AIA Chicago Designight 2024 on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. This annual event brings together architects, designers, and industry leaders to celebrate design excellence in Chicago and honor innovative projects that shape the future of architecture.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of one of our key projects, Lawson House, which won the prestigious Honor Award for Multifamily Residential. This award underscores the remarkable transformation of the historic 1931 Art Deco Lawson House into 409 affordable micro-apartments, aimed at providing high-quality housing for low-income residents in Chicago.
Amberleaf Home was proud to contribute to this impactful project by supplying custom kitchen and bath cabinetry. Our made in Chicago cabinetry was chosen to reflect the perfect balance between historical elegance and modern functionality, ensuring that each unit offers both aesthetic appeal and practical solutions.
Being part of Designight 2024 and sponsoring such a meaningful event demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting architectural excellence and community-focused projects in Chicago. The recognition of Lawson House highlights our role in contributing to the preservation and modernization of Chicago's historic architecture.
